I think its great. Reminds me of a painting by a surrealist who's name I don't remember right now. Is it Magritte? (in a whisper - Christina IS dizzy)

I love Magritte. I rememebr buying a Magritte print when I was a poor student which cost almost half a week's rent.

I think its a great idea, but I think I would have knocked back the brightness of the buildings in the background, as I feel they are too much in conflict. Don't be put off by my comments, as I think there is an excellent idea in there. By the way, had you thought of leaving the sky in colour in the first one?? Tell me to mind my own business!!!

I really like the line, angles, tones of the first shot... the second doesn't really do much for me I have to admit and anyway I'm not a big fan of René but, in the words of that well known popular music ballad "you can't always get what you want but if you try sometimes da di da di da"

I like the strong graphic of the first and the fact that it is not perfevtly square. The second is interesting.... the relationship of the fore and background.

Hi, Cristina! I confess, these women are not so grounded and round like your felted sculptures, but they do have their charme, too! And I think, St. has done a good job here!

I love the lines of the first, great bw. The second is too much. If you want to show the difference between the geometric foms and the sky, why don`t you do that? This way it is so turbulent, you dont need the interesting buildings, there is a reason, that Margitte chose a very monoton background.......but the idea is great!

Love the first shots very much. Second is not really my kettle of fish, but you did a great job making it .

I saved #2 as a favourite. It's interesting that you based it on Magritte but have produced an image that is entirely your own. I think it's a fabulous piece of work. The only advice I can give is that if you want to get closer to Magritte, you'll need lots more bowler hats ;-)

@ Daisydavinci: I never said that I don't like Stéfan's photos! On the contrary, I like his two shots for different reasons. The first one as is not perfectly symmetric and taken from the ground... just made me feel "dizzy"... It wasn't a critic... Other pics taken from the ground level have the same effect on me... or maybe the cause of my dizziness is other... The secon one is very creative and I like it. I know Magritte's works. I have a copy of a painting at home in Florence. Raining men alleluja ! ;-)
