My Dad loves this almost as much as mowing the lawn. (Which is a lot.)

A real blizzard! Tyler and I visited my Dad and stepmom Nancy in Maryland this weekend, just outside of Washington D.C. At their house, about 16" of snow fell! Back in Brooklyn, it was about 12". The most I've seen since I moved to the Northeast in '08! Thankfully, the timing was perfect: we arrived on Friday just as it started to get heavy, and left on Sunday afternoon when the sun had come out. We probably couldn't have left the house on Saturday even if we wanted to-- we were snowed in. :)
