When I saw today’s feet theme my first thought was to capture Gracie’s paws – an idea inspired by
Tom’s post on November’s Caturday. However, Gracie wasn’t willing to cooperate (she kept sitting on her paws!) so I had to resort to using my own feet instead. I wouldn’t want to force my bare feet onto the folks at Photoblog so I fished out these rather funky socks and set about finding a way of shooting them while they were on my feet. This was taken in my music room with me sitting on a chair with my feet stretched out in the air in front of me, using my 50mm prime lens wide open to artistically blur the stripes. It certainly challenged my leg muscles, keeping them up in the air and still for long enough to take a successful shot!
