30 weeks

Wow, 30 weeks seems like such a big deal. Maybe because I only have about 10 weeks left, or because saying I'm 30-something weeks is like being in the home stretch.

Not a lot of changes in the last week. The baby occassionally get the hiccups right after I eat. I've started trying to do 2/3 of the yoga routine every day, rather than the entire routine every other day. So far it seems to be helping in terms of keeping my body from getting stiff and tight. And for some reason 30 minutes is a lot less than 55 minutes, so it's easier to do more regularly.

I guess the biggest changes I've noticed are that my uterus is up to the bottom of my ribs now, so I feel kicks and bumps pretty high now, and some days I have a harder time breathing or eating much.

I'm off to paint the closet in the nursery finally. The weather is warm enough again to leave the window open while I paint. I'd like to get the whole closet painted, but I don't think my legs or back will let me, especially since they both already ache. But if I can get it all finished by the weekend I'll be pretty happy. Sometimes I think about how long it's taken me to paint the nursery, and how I probably would have gotten the entire thing done in about two days if I weren't pregnant. Oh well, my body is focusing on other more important matters for now.
